Stretch for Lower Back Pain – Video

People who suffer from regular lower back pain, know how much it can impact their life. Some people choose to take medications, receive massages, use an ice pack, or seek out chiropractic care. Another way to gain relief from this pain is to do some stretches throughout the day. A Family and Sports Chiropractic Clinic in Vancouver WA recommends the following lower back stretch:

-To begin this stretch, you should lie down with your knees bent.

-Pull your knee to your chest and hold it for 7-10 seconds. Then do so with your other leg. You should do 5-10 repetitions of this this stretch 4-5 times throughout each day.

-Next, put your heel over your knee and pull your leg towards your shoulder, hold this for 7-10 seconds. Repeat with your other leg. Next you should again put your heel over your knee and pull your leg towards your other shoulder, repeat this step with your other leg. You should do 5-10 repetitions of this 4-5 times every day.
